Purpose

To create an area for people to congregate, shelter from the elements, and enjoy the pristine natural elements in Boundary Bay.  Revitalize the pond to improve the quality of water for the many species of wildlife.  Creating accessible paths around the pond and park connecting look outs, benches and picnic tables.

Components

Two picnic shelters are covered with a unique and innovative CLT (cross laminated timber) panel design and connections. Shelters complete with BBQ stands and potable water.  Gravel paths around the pond complete with look outs lending a view of the pond and surrounding areas.
