Indigenous Carving Centre
Purpose
To connect an existing museum space with a new pavilion and provide space for Indigenous carving where they can showcase their art and abilities.
Components
Renovation of the existing building, adding millwork, barn doors, electrical and communications. Construct a new pavilion with architectural monolithic footing and walls, concrete stairs and seating. The pavilion structure is constructed with exposed intricate glulam posts and rafters. The exterior cladding provides an open feel built with cedar modules.
